Children's Annual Service on 24 July 10amThe service went well as our children and youth brought the gospel message through drama, songs, memory verses and action song. All enjoyed and look forward to next year.
Dawn Service up Mount Owairaka on 27th March 2016, 7AMThe Dawn service started at 7am up Mount Owairaka, entrance via Summit Drive. And a warm breakfast followed in the Church hall, after the service. The service was well attended and with the use of the portable PA System , the service was enjoyed by all.
Good Friday Walk 2016 - 25th MarchWe continue with the Good Friday Walk this year, and the walk started from the Baptist Church at 10am, to the Anglican at 10.30, Methodist and 11, Presbyterian at 11.30 and Catholics at 12, with the Salvation Army serving us morning tea. World Day of Prayer 2016 – 4th March: CUBAWe were joined by other local Churches, to celebrate this World Day of Prayer. We decorated the Church with Cuban related flag and materials and three Churches came together and took part in the service. Next year, the focus of the World Day of Prayer will be the Philippines and St Mary's Catholic Church will be hosting.

Children's Christmas CelebrationOur children gathered at Church for the presentation of their Christmas gifts for 2015. They then had a shared lunch before they went on to Wave Pools for a splash on the water. They had a great time.
Family Lite Party - Free Fun for all - 31st October 2015A Free Family fun for all to enjoy. This was our first Lite Party and everyone enjoyed the gathering. There were games, food, goodies to win, guessing games, lolly scramble and more.
International Service - 13th September 2015We gathered again for our International service where we celebrated our diversity, yet, our unity in Christ. In the service, we heard contributions from the different ethnic groups within the Church, and translation service was available via FM radio transmitters for those with minimal English. After the service, we moved to the hall for further fellowship over some multi-ethnic dishes.
Children's Sunday - 26th July 2015Our Annual Children's Sunday was well attended by family, friends and relatives. The children did well with their songs, memory verses and drama. The theme this year was: ‘Love’, 'Love' led Jesus to feed thousands miraculously and abundantly. ‘Love’ also led Jesus to help the disciples reach land immediately. As Christians, 'Love should move us into action, into helping others'. After the service, everyone joined together for food fellowship in the hall.
50th Anniversary, 1st woman ordained to ministry in PCANZOn 10th May 2015, we celebrated the historical event happened almost 50 years ago, when The Very Rev Margaret Martin became the first woman, to be ordained to the ministry of Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa NZ. We marked her 50th anniversary at our 10am service, 10th May 2015, which happened to be our Mother's Day celebration as well. Dawn Service up Mt Albert on Easter SundayWe revived the Dawn Service in 2015, and held it up Mt Owairaka on Easter Sunday, starting at 6.30am. Breakfast in our Church hall followed. Here are some pictures from the Dawn Service 2015:
GOOD FRIDAY MARCH 2015Again, we joined other Churches in Mt Albert for the Good Friday March. We were the last station this year, and had a drama focusing on "the death and burial" part of Easter. Here are some pictures from the day:
MAUNDY THURSDAY REFLECTIVE SERVICE 2015In 2015, we began a Maundy Thursday Candlelight reflective service focusing on the Lord's Last Supper with his disciples. The service included readings, singing and silence, concluding with the Lord's Supper. Here are some pictures from this service
Church picnic: 26th January 2015Over 70 people turned up on a lovely Auckland Anniversary Monday to join together at the Church Picnic. We enjoyed games, food & fellowship at Coyle Park, Pt Chevalier beach. It was a lovely time together, enjoyed by all. Go to the gallery to see some of the photos.

Children's Christmas celebration: 13th December 10.30am - 3pmThis was a fun celebration for our children, who've been wonderful all year. In this celebration, the children had 'Magic man and his rabbit', bouncy castle, water games, Christmas gifts and food. We look forward to the same celebration next year. photos to come...
Children's Sunday 2014: 26th OctoberThe significance of our children in our ministry was marked by having our young people minister to us in drama and songs. The preschoolers' items was cute and unforgettable, the intermediate class had confidence shine through their item and our youth closed it off with the main item, a beautiful drama about The Great commandment. Confirmation Service:On 12th October, friends and families joined us as we confirm and enter two of our members into full-membership of the Church, through public profession of faith. This was a beautiful service and was enjoyed by all. We look forward, with God's guidance, to many more confirmations in the future. Click here for some of the pics.
Ethnic diversity Sunday:On 28th September, we celebrated our diversity as we acknowledge the different Ethnic groups within us. This special worship service was very well attended and our tenant, the Stream of Life Church, joined us in this worship. Our worship team for the day was made up of 3 different ethnic groups. And we had all known ethnic groups, within our Church family, took part in the service, as they contributed in prayers, sharing and Bible reading. We had a great time together and hope to repeat it again next year, maybe twice a year. Click here for some of the photos from the service.
Good Friday Walk:The Mt Albert Combined Churches again joined together in the Good Friday Walk. Hundreds of people gathered on a wet and windy Good Friday to take part in the Good Friday Walk. At 10AM they all gathered at the St Mary’s Catholic Church for their first station message on The Last Supper, before they came to the 2nd station, our Church at 10.30. Our Youth put together a Youth version drama of the Gethsemane story as part of our contribution. Our Church was packed, the foyer was packed and some had to stay outside as they couldn't fit into the Church. Christianity is still alive and well received in Mt Albert, and the locals continue to value the Good Friday tradition. The Good Friday Walk then, moved on to the 3rd station, Mt Albert Methodist Church at 11am where they received message on the Trial of Jesus. At 11.30am, they were at the 4th station, St Lukes Anglican Church for the 'Crucifixion of Jesus' message. By 12noon, they were at the Mt Albert Baptist Church for station 5: 'Death an Burial of Jesus'. Thanks to the Salvation Army, refreshment was provided and then served for everyone to sit down and enjoy. We look forward to another display of Christian unity in Mt Albert next year.
World Day of Prayer:In 2014, we joined with other Christian Churches in the Owairaka region in the Annual World Day of Prayer, hosted by Hosanna World Harvest Church, Owairaka. The service was well attended by both youth and old, and well supported by Christian Churches in the region. Our Youth contributed an action song, which encouraged participation, in worship in the house of God. We look forward to the same event next year.
